Edward

Edward is a graduate of the University of Malaya, where he was an avid mooter.

Passionate about helping others, he volunteered as a Student Advisor at the UM Legal Aid Clinic during his time in law school.

Edward is also a Scout Leader where he is a firm believer in equipping and shaping youths through non-formal education.

On the side, he is a closeted Blink and a sucker for heart-wrenching cliché K-dramas.

Nevyn

A familiar face to many in the debating and mooting scene, Nevyn is a graduate of the University of Malaya, where he currently volunteers as a moot coach.

As the co-founder of Health Diplomacy, Haksiswa and the former President of the UM Law Society, he is no stranger to fighting the good fight.

Beyond the legal battlefield, Nevyn indulges in board games, a pour of wine, and can often be spotted at the (squash) court.

Wait, but Why?

In a world gone viral, our social media feed is flooded with never-ending controversial issues, dramas and boiling hot tea.

But beneath the surface, there is always more than meets the eye; there is a kaleidoscope of perspectives for every issue. And what is shown to the readers may not be the most accurate representation.

This blog strives to help everyday readers gain a better understanding of current issues — particularly from an academic and legal standpoint.

We do this because we are firm believers that effective change takes root in our awareness of what’s happening around us.

Beyond spilling the tea, we hope that through this blog, our two cents can ignite a burning passion within every reader to go out there and make this world a better place.
